Back To School Shopping

I've been busy this summer and it's half over. BoyWonder will be going back to school August 20. I was able to snag some of his school supplies from CVS this week and will be checking them out for next week also.

I took advantage of the 3 day sale earlier this week. I was surprised my closest store had everything in stock but blue pens. I had to buy black. These items cost me roughly $14 and I received $12 back in Extra Care Bucks. Not bad for $2 bucks.

Yesterday I started out with $6 in ECB. Here's what I did:

The sale is a 3 day sale, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. What good is it to have a sale for three days when they are out of the two items each in the first three hours? For this I hate CVS! Do all CVS stores stock like this? Only two or three of something they are going to run a sale on?

(who are spoiled ass rotten) We all were talking and from what I gathered from what the two kids would pipe up and say, they are adjusting to not getting everything they look at. My brother and her have been under so much stress, but they were in good spirits today and her and I talked about stockpiling, using coupons and shopping at CVS. She wants me to teach her how to get more for her money. They werent able to stay long because they had to go to her parents house so I'm thinking I will go up there in the next week or so and take her to CVS.

Tuesday Trips- CVS

I knew better than to go to CVS on a Sunday. I wanted to work the Dove candy deal since I had two ip coupons for B1G1 FREE and the coffee. The coffee rang up the sale price but printed no ECB's and the cashier would not let me use both ip coupons on one order. So they refunded me the money on the coffee and I still took the four bags of Doves.

I went home and started doing some figuring to see how I could better my deal on the candy because at this point the four bags on sale for $4.29 each had cost me $12.87 minus the $5 ECB I recvd back.

I went back today and here's how I worked it to get my out of pocket back down. I also repurchased the coffee and it printed the ECB for it.
