1 1/2 pound loaf
2/3 cup milk (90`-100` F)
2 eggs, large
3 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 tablespoons sugar
1 1/2 tablespoons butter/margarine
2 tsp. active dry yeast OR 1 1/2 tsp. bread machine fast rise yeast.
Add ingredients in order listed.
Bake in bread machine using Basic setting and your choice of color.
I always bake it on light since this is smaller than 2 lb loaf.
The eggs add a special flavor to this bread and it's a very tender
bread due to using both eggs and milk.
It is NOT recommended to use this recipe with your delay on your
bread machine due to the eggs and milk in it.
TIP: When using a bread machine, to get fluffier bread, add the warm water and yeast first. Let that sit for 5 minutes before adding the remaining ingredients.
