My Valentine Gift For Hubby

Last week when I posted my frugal Valentine ideas I mentioned making a Love Box. I wanted to do one of those for my hubby and I finished it today.

I started with this plastic heart box I bought for $1 at the Dollar General store.

I collected my tokens to fill the box.

Then I typed out what each stood for and placed it in the lid.

Next came dressing the box up a little using the hot glue gun, lace and a valentine left over from kiddo's.

Love the purple and pink ribbon around the bottom!

This was a fun project and I'm sure hubby will love it!

  1. I love it!! DH would prefer something meaningful like that, instead of a store bought item. Too funny, my middle brother's nickname is Huggy Bear too :D

  6. That is just too cute. I love creative gifts like that and would rather receive something that someone put their heart and soul into than something store bought.
