Now that it is cold weather here in Missouri, I love to cook as much as possible in my crockpot. It is so nice to come home from work and have supper done! Clean up is so much easier for me, cause I'm one of those cooks who will dirty up every pot in the kitchen when I cook. :) One crock thrown in the dishwasher along with our plates and I'm done!
What do I do with all that time on my hands? Clip coupons, blog, clip coupons, blog... haha, you get the picture. Now if I could only find a way to snap my fingers and my coupons would be clipped!
Here is what's cooking in my crockpot right now. This recipe comes from a crockpot e-book of mine. If you would like a copy of it, check out my sidebar.... I've put it up over there for you to snag.... and as always here on Living Easy, it's FREE!
What's cooking in your crockpot?

I've never tried cooking in crockpot (dont' own one either) but very tempted to get one this year just to see if my future hubby will add his cooking skills and help out :) all dishes that i've read about seem very simple to make so he should be able to do this too, right?
ReplyDeleteJenny yes the recipes are simple and use simple ingredients, I'm quite sure you wont have a problem making any of them for your future hubby. ;)
ReplyDeleteThis sounds so good! I haven't used my crockpot in such a long time, I should get it out! You're right... it's so nice to come home and have dinner ready plus everything tastes absolutely delicious coming out of a crockpot!
ReplyDeleteI like using the crockpot, but I don't have any luck getting it clean in the dishwasher. I tried those liner bags, but every one of them leaked and I had to handwash the crock anyway.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE my crockpot! Thanks for the recipe!
ReplyDeleteLisa,
ReplyDeleteNo no no, i want him to make these meals for ME! :)
Karen Get it out! There's no time like now.
ReplyDeleteAnnie I prewash mine before running it through my dishwasher. I tried those liners one time, they are not what they are cracked up to be. Can you even still buy them?
Precious this recipe is not a real spicy or super sweet recipe. I used thighs yesterday and my son and I thought it was good, my hubby said "Is there any white meat in there?" So I think he liked the flavor but wasnt thrilled I was feeding him dark meat. I'm still working on him.
Jenny lol I was wondering if you would catch my little poke at you. I understand and wish my hubby would cook more in the crockpot for me too. Train him right from the begining Jenny, cause it's true, it's hard to teach an old dog new tricks.
